Artist Program Intern Waterloo Arts is in the midst of a yearlong strategic-planning process to help the organization understand how to better serve the artistic communities of Cleveland. The intern will be conducting research to see how the organization can optimize assessment and improvement of professional development opportunities for artists in Cuyahoga County.
Researching and visiting local arts organizations
Interviewing artists and staff at local organizations to identify their needs
Designing classes and budget for those classes
Creating program page for website
Working with a designer to create a template for Waterloo's postcard calendar
Qualifications The student is a collaborative, creative individual, with superb listening and problem-solving skills. S/he is a self-starter and eager to expand Waterloo’s audience. Preference will be given to students studying art history, fine arts, or a related field.
