The Intern for the Summer Programs Internship will assist the Education Programs Coordinator with Career Day for ICP's Degree and Certificate Programs and will help with the daily administration of ICP's Summer Classes.

For Career Day, ICP invites gallery owners,photo-editors, publishers and agents from the New York photography community to look at the portfolios of graduating students. It is avery important event for ICP, the professionals invited to participate, and ICP students. The Intern for this position will gain valuable experience in organizing such an event and would have the opportunity to come in contact with many leaders in the photographic arts world. The ideal candidate would need to be available in June. The Intern will assist the Education Programs Coordinator in contacting participants, and organizing the event. The end result will be Career Day. In addition, ICP runs a Intern will assist the Education Programs Coordinator in the daily administration of ICP's Summer Program, giving him or her the opportunity to learn the kind of work an education department does running its educational programs. The Intern will be interfacing with ICP's faculty and students. The position could also entail assisting teachers in the classroom if the applicant has appropriate experience.
