Projects will be drawn from the following in accordance with candidate skills, availability and interest.
Marketing: -create an electronic presentation kit (EPK) for RMA Promotions of Special Events and Group Sales - organize client specific outreach presentations (mail and online) -develop sponsorship presentations -organize, create, and execute mailings to special event planners -organize, create, and execute mailings to tour & travel and cultural organizations
Research: -research prospective sponsors (vendors and corporate) -research and develop event planners and industry client database -research corporate and group visit client targets -research individual sponsors and donors
Publicity and Media Planning: -organize, create, and execute one special event advertisement.
Events: -assist on-site for special events. -execute one special event (supervised).

Qualifications:
Intern must be highly organized, be able to do research online, and be able to work without constant supervision. S/he must have a strong knowledge of basic Microsoft Office software. Writing and presentation skills are important as well as the ability to interact with people.
