Graphic Design Intern This internship will see the intern learn how to design experiential graphics from concept, to delivery of files for production. These steps will be used as an introduction to learning about overseeing installation of works in the Museum. The intern will work with the curators, museum editor, and installation manager to complete projects while receiving guidance and instruction from the graphic design department.
Get an overview of what it is like to work within Museum environments.
Be introduced to the systems, tools, and processes the RISD museum uses.
Be assigned small pieces of projects to implement on their own.
Practice everyday workflow, management, and design strategies.
Strong understanding of typography and graphic design fundamentals
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
