Warm Up / Public Programs Intern 

MoMA PS 1

The Intern will take part in the planning and organization of MoMA PS1’s summer music concert series Warm Up, as well as other events or openings that arise during the internship. Duties will include but will not be limited to the coordination and management of Warm Up volunteers, assisting front-of-house staff, set-up and breakdown of the event.

During the week, the Intern will work alongside Visitor Services staff on daily tasks such as researching MoMA PS1 exhibitions and history, assist with creating group reservations, supporting Gallery Attendants, assisting museum visitors and other operational duties.

Qualifications: 

The Intern should be enthusiastic, energetic and a self-starter. She/He is well organized, responsible, playful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and assuming a leadership role. This individual should be available to work weekends/nights, and should not mind dedicating a few extra hours to the task at-hand or jumping in to fill a role. Adobe Photoshop/InDesign skills are desired but are not required. Interest in learning about contemporary music and art is a must.
