Corporate Giving Intern In this internship opportunity, the Intern will assist the Corporate Giving Manager in her efforts to expand Corporate Membership and Corporate Sponsorship at the Museum. The Intern will research prospective local membership opportunities, conduct prospect research, and, based on this research, develop corporate sponsorship decks.
This position will benefit an intern who is interested in learning about the corporate giving landscape. The collaborative and outreach-oriented nature of this project will allow the intern to make professional connections within the arts non-profit world.
Helping to launch the Museum's Local Business Membership program
Creating sponsorship decks
Learning Altru (museum cultural management software)
Assisting with database entry, maintenance, and clean-up
Executing corporate volunteer opportunities
Qualifications The ideal candidate has strong online research skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint. S/he is detail-oriented, independent, and interested in liaising with corporate donors as required. The intern needs to commit to working two Wednesday nights at the Museum's Uptown Bounce event.
