Adult and Public Programs Intern    

Jewish Museum
- POSITION FILLED

The Intern will work with the Manager of Public Programs on the following projects:

1.  Summer Concert Series - coordination, working with performers and attending events.
2.  Research and planning for series of artist talks in the fall.
3.  Planning for new initiative called The Wind Up, which is geared toward vistors in their 20's and 30's.  Intern will help develop program content and assist with coordination and logistics.
4.  Planning for new initiatives for adult education partnerships.
5.  Outreach to help develop new audiences.
6.  Learn about the field of museum education and public programs.

Qualifications: 

The Intern should be highly motivated with the ability to work independently.  S/he should be comfortable talking with the public when helping with programs and outreach.  An interest in art history and adult learning is important.  The Intern will need to have some flexibility with work schedule, as some of the concerts and programs will start at 6:30 PM.
