Marketing Intern Founder’s Hall at Girard College is a museum operating within a residential school for economically disadvantaged youth. One of the museum’s priorities is sharing the history of the institution and its founder, Stephen Girard (1750-1831), a famous philanthropist whose efforts and fortune went to improving educational opportunities for orphans. The museum at Girard – Founder’s Hall – is not only a historical landmark but a hugely significant example of Greek revival architecture that contains outstanding art and historical collections from the 18th-20th centuries.
The Marketing Intern will conduct a marketing assessment to see how the museum can engage a broader audience and optimize the visitor experience. This assessment will include a summary of current marketing efforts and outlets, a review of current marketing materials, and suggestions for improving outreach to a specific audience segment or segments, to be determined by the intern in collaboration with the supervisor.

Examining existing marketing material with the end goal of revision and creation of new print pieces and digital outreach
