The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University www.ansp.org
Science Now Education Intern Since 2014, the Academy has run a daily floor program called Science Now, which highlights current, trending science news stories. Science Now is an area in the museum where visitors can participate in hands-on activities, interact with specimens, and participate in discussions about weather-related current events, breaking scientific discoveries, and ongoing scientific research conducted by the Academy of Natural Sciences.
In order to highlight the links between current science and the history of the Academy, we have been working on a research and development project that will identify the connections between content in our exhibits and daily programming at Science Now. The goal of the project is to create an interactive activity that explores the link between the Academy’s early history and ongoing scientific research around the globe.
