The Intern will take part in the planning and organization of P.S. 1's summer music concert series "Warm Up", as well as various public programs, openings and special events. He/she will work hands-on alongside event staff, actively experiencing every phase of production from set-up to break down. During the week, the Intern will also be involved in various "extracurricular" activities that include visitor services assistance, website maintenance, research and archiving projects. The Intern should be enthusiastic, energetic and a self-starter. He/she should be well organized, responsible and playful. This individual should not mind working on weekends/nights, dedicating a few extra hours to the task at-hand, or jumping in to fill a role. HTML, audio/visual knowledge and Adobe Photoshop/InDesign skills are desired but are not required.
