HR Intern

Institution:

International Center of Photography

The HR Intern will assist the Director of Administration in several large, summer-long projects. First, ICP is engaged in the Museum Re-Accreditation process through the American Association of Museums (AAM), which requires considerable research into both ICP's history and strategic planning and the changing demographics of the museum's audience in New York City. The intern will learn research skills and gain intimate knowledge of all areas of the museum's operations. In addition to this project, the intern will take a leadership role in organizing ICP's Summer Internship Program events series, gaining valuable Events Planning experience and an understanding of the Internship Program as a whole. In the past, this event series has included talks by ICP's Director and curators, as well as off-site exhibition tours. Other projects include the Performance Appraisal process, which coincides with the end of the Fiscal Year in June.
