Education Intern - POSITION FILLED
Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum
The Intern will undertake a variety of projects within the Education Department's Raisers Edge database. These projects will serve the Museum to ensure all education data is correct before Cooper-Hewitt enters a new fiscal year. By completing these database assignments, the intern will be trained and learn Raisers Edge, a widely used non-profit database system.
In addition to the database responsibilities, the intern will spearhead a major project which involves collecting contact information for NYC schools, kindergarten through high school. This project will aid the Education Department's outreach efforts.
As needed, the intern will be asked to assist or join education programs which will take place throughout the 9 weeks. This will allow the intern to experience various types of programs and their development.
Interested candidates who meet all eligibility requirements should submit all three parts of their application by email to the contact below. Please see this website's "HOW TO APPLY" section for more details.
The intern must be detail oriented and well organized. They will be responsible for manipulating large amounts of data within our databases. This information is used within the Education Department and by the Development Department to seek new funding and evaluate current programs.
