Marketing Intern Over the course of this internship, the Marketing Intern will learn how social media and marketing materials can expand the audience of a small arts organization. By researching the organization and surrounding artistic communities, the intern will be able to identify the networking needs of Art House, Inc., and create and implement a marketing campaign to be launched at the end of the summer. This is a great opportunity for a take-charge student to develop a marketing portfolio, as they design and execute a campaign from start to finish.
Developing a marketing campaign to expand network and social media following
Updating progress in a blog that will be live on the Art House website
Assisting with fundraisers (sorting and posting photographs, analyzing survey data, etc.)
Sending newsletters to all e-mail subscribers
Qualifications The successful candidate is dependable, flexible, and is highly self-motivated. S/he has working knowledge of Excel, popular social media platforms, and ideally has some experience with graphic design or photo-editing software. It is also helpful if the intern has reliable access to a computer outside of the office, though it is not necessary.
