Archives Intern The Archives Intern will be fully immersed in the story of Art House, Inc. through a comprehensive research project. He/she will begin the internship by reviewing and reorganizing the organization’s files, which will help them develop an understanding of grant-writing, marketing campaigns, and the social media of a small non-profit. In these first weeks, the intern will create a chronological record of the organization’s history.
The second component of the project is the creation of a short documentary that showcases the history of Art House, Inc. The intern will develop a storyboard, conduct video interviews of the staff, review footage, and edit the files. He/she will be given credit for this video, which will be available for viewing on the website. The summer will end with the intern presenting the documentary and research to the Art House, Inc. team.
Qualifications The Archives Intern must have strong communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of video production (shooting, editing, and graphic design). Since the intern will be conducting interviews, it is helpful for them to be comfortable taking a leadership role.
